Enfield Man Charged With Selling Heroin

The man is accused of selling the drug to undercover police officers over the summer.

Enfield police arrested a local man Thursday evening in connection with a heroin-dealing investigation over the summer.

Daniel DeGray, Jr., 25, of 22 Windsor St., is charged with four counts of sale of certain illegal drugs and two counts of possessing a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school or daycare.

He was held in lieu of bonds totaling $900,000, and is scheduled to be arraigned in Enfield Superior Court Friday.

Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said DeGray sold heroin to uncover police officers three times in July and another time in August in the Thompsonville section of town.

A check of judicial records showed DeGray has no prior criminal record in Connecticut.
