A female victim, described as Brennan’s girlfriend, said the incident began as a verbal argument that escalated into a physical fight, during which Brennan allegedly choked her, Collins said.
During the struggle, the woman’s brother entered the apartment and got involved in the fight. At one point, Brennan allegedly broke the leg off a chair and began chasing the male victim with it, then threw the chair leg at the female, Collins said.
