Edwin F. Buczkowski, 86, of Enfield, entered into eternal rest on Monday Dec. 18, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital, Hartfor.
Edwin was born on Jan. 18, 1931 in the Thompsonville section of Enfield, to the late Maryon and Mary Buczkowski and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. Edwin served his country proudly with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement Edwin was employed for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for 35 years. He was a lifelong farmer and gardener.
Edwin is survived by a sister Gienowefa Dursa of Windsor Locks and ten nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Edwin was predeceased by three brothers, Joseph, Tadeus and John Buczkowski and two sisters, Stella Cashman & Helen Ritchey.

A visitation period for relatives and friends may gather on Friday Dec. 22, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m., followed by a Prayer Service with Fr. Anthony Bruno officiating at Browne Memorial Funeral Chapels, Enfield. Interment with military honors will then take place in St. Patrick’s King St. Cemetery, Enfield.
