Enfield Obituary: Evelyn Cuscovitch, 72

Condolences to her family and friends.

Evelyn M. (Curran) Cuscovitch, 72, of Enfield, beloved wife of Thomas J. Cuscovitch, died Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Suffield House.

She was born in Willimantic on March 9, 1943, daughter of the late John Ulric Joseph and Blanche F. (Prue) Curran and had lived in Enfield for most of her life. Evelyn was a parishioner of Holy Family Church, Enfield and she enjoyed ceramics, needlework, flower arranging, quilling and many other crafts. She was married to her husband Thomas for 55 years. Thomas is a member of Ironworkers Local Union#15 in Hartford.

She is survived by three children, Kimberly Rabbeni and her husband, Peter of Cary, NC; Tracy Cuscovitch of Enfield and Tomilee Bengston of Willington; two brothers, John Engleman and his wife, Carole of South Windsor and Michael Engleman and his wife, Lil of Enfield; two sisters, Joan Tinnirella of Enfield and Patricia Flynn and her husband, Danny of Rotonda West, FL; nine grandchildren, Deanna and Alex Rabbeni of Cary, NC, Joe McCallister of Chicopee, MA, Toni Zanks and her husband, Joe of Manchester, Shannon Bengston of Enfield and Janay, Samantha, Quenton and Nathaniel Swift of Enfield; six great grandchildren, Mia, Jordan, Jaxson, Kendra, Kelsey and Antwan and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Family and friends may gather on Monday, October 12 at 9 a.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield and followed by a Mass of Christian of Burial at Holy Family Church at 23 Simon Road, Enfield at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Hazardville Cemetery, Enfield. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, October 11 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Lung Association, 45 Ash Street, East Hartford, CT 06108.
