Enfield Obituary: Francis Hart, 82

Francis J. Hart, 82, of Enfield beloved husband of the late Barbara L. Hart passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at Parkway Pavilion with his daughter by his side.

He was born on April 19, 1933, in New Britain, the son of the late Raymond and Sue (Zapatka) Hart. Francis was a resident of Enfield for the past thirty years, and a communicant of St. Adalbert Church. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for over twenty years, serving during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed woodworking and working in his family ceramic shop in Enfield.

Francis is survived by his daughter, Cathryn H. Cochefski and her husband Peter of Cypress, TX; four grandchildren, Zachariah Hart, Sarah N. Cochefski, Courtney E. Cochefski and Victoria A. Cochefski; a brother, Robert Hart of New Britain. In addition to his wife he was predeceased by a son Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Raymond F. Hart, II.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2015 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield. A funeral procession will gather on Monday, January 18, 2016, at the funeral home at 9:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Adalbert Church, 90 Alden Ave, Enfield. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Adalbert Cemetery.
