Enfield Obituary: Lorraine Ruel, 82

Lorraine P. (Cyr) Ruel, 82, beloved wife of the late Norman “Jack” Ruel passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at McLean Residence, Simsbury.

Born on October 30, 1933 in Augusta, Maine, Lorraine was a longtime resident of Enfield and Surfside Beach, SC. Lorraine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed walks along the beach, music, dancing, and was an accomplished seamstress.

She is survived by her four children, Gregory Ruel of Ivoryton, Linda Ruel and her husband Anthony Fasano of Hinsdale, Illinois, Stephen Ruel and his wife Lisa of Enfield, and Carol Cote and her husband Donald of Canton. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Allie, Cameron, Tyler, Michelle, Christine, Monica, Nicholas, Brian, Samantha and Emily.

The family thanks the caregivers at McLean for the wonderful care Lorraine received.
