Enfield Obituary: Louise Curulli, 91

Condolences to her family and friends.

Louise Mary (Ciaschini) Curulli, 91, passed away peacefully on Friday January 1st 2016 at Parkway Pavilion in Enfield.

Born in Springfield to the late Leandro and Ida (Rossi) Ciaschini, she was a longtime resident of Suffield. Louise worked for Steiger’s for over 30 years as Office Manager and was very active for many years at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Springfield, MA. Louise had a flair for Italian cooking and enjoyed going to the beach on Cape Cod with her family. She had a strong belief in the Patron Saint, St. Anthony and she always said that she was blessed with a beautiful family.

The family wishes to thank the Parkway Pavilion and the Masonicare Home Health & Hospice for their support and compassionate care for Louise over the past few weeks.

She was predeceased by her loving husband of 64 years, Joseph A. Curulli in 2013 and by her sister, Norma Donahue in October of 2015. She is survived by her son, Thomas J. Curulli and his wife Norma and her beloved granddaughter, Melissa Curulli, all of Enfield; by her brother-in-law, Robert Donahue of Agawam and by many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to meet for a period of visitation on Wednesday January 6th from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam, MA followed by a 10:30 AM service in the funeral home. Burial will be private for the family following the service.
