Enfield Obituary: Mary Champion, 77

Mary A. Champion, 77, of Enfield, widow of Billy L. Champion (2013), entered into eternal peace Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Parkway Pavilion.

Born and raised in Enfield, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Antoinette (Basile) Buttacavoli. Mary was an avid cook and music lover who enjoyed spending time with her family and her several pets she cared for over the years.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth Lurye and her husband Garth of Amity Harbor, NY; nieces Veronica Schortmann and husband Mark of West Springfield MA,and Bernadette Malley-Berger of Enfield, as well as several cousins, grand nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Angela Dunn (2007).

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 NoonSaturday, July 15, 2017 at Enfield Street Cemetery, Enfield.
