Monday, July 24

Carlos A. Rivera, 30, of 520 Wethersfield Ave., Hartford, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession with intent to sell, possession of less than a half-ounce of cannabis and second-degree failure to appear, 12:44 a.m.

Zachary B. Smith, 20, of 64-A Quality Ave., Somersville, was charged with possession of narcotics and use of drug paraphernalia, 7:20 p.m.

Norman E. Newell, 62, of 242 Scantic Rd., East Windsor, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, 12:55 a.m.

Wednesday, July 26

Iris N. Maldonado, 35, of 28 Asnuntuck St., Enfield, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, 12:54 a.m.

Ken Xiong, 32, of 59 Church St., Enfield, was charged with first-degree stalking, violation of a protective order and first-degree criminal trespass, 6:15 a.m.

Kristen A. Shermer, 42, of 10 Belinda Ln., Enfield, was charged with operating under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane, 9:10 p.m.

Elizabeth L. Choinski, 22, of no certain address, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and delivery of drug paraphernalia, 11:22 p.m.
