Enfield Police Charge Man Captured After Multi-Town Vehicle Pursuit
The incident began when police tried to serve felony warrants out of Enfield on a suspect at a Windsor pizza shop.

WINDSOR, CT - What began as an attempt to serve a pair of felony warrants on a suspect out of Enfield turned into a multi-town pursuit Thursday that resulted in the arrest of the suspect and damage to five vehicles, including a police cruiser.
Windsor Police Capt. Thomas LePore said around 4:30 p.m., Windsor police accompanied Enfield officers, armed with two felony arrest warrants, to the Domino's Pizza store at 45 Palisado Avenue, where they intended to serve the warrants on an employee, Stacey Williams.
Officers were told Williams had left the store but would be back. When his car returned and he saw police present, he took off north on Palisado Avenue, also known as Route 159, striking a car in the process, LePore said.

Williams turned onto Kennedy Road, then entered the southbound side of Interstate 91 with Windsor and Enfield police in pursuit. At exit 33 in Hartford, he lost control of his car and spun out across three lanes of traffic, hitting a pair of vehicles and then a Windsor police cruiser, LePore said.

The cruiser sustained a broken axle, while Williams' car received heavy damage. No injuries were reported.
He was charged by Windsor police with reckless driving, engaging police in pursuit and evading responsibility. He was released on a $10,000 nonsurety bond into the custody of Enfield police, who charged him with the crimes in the warrants: two counts of violation of a protective order, first-degree criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, second-degree threatening, third-degree burglary and fifth-degree larceny.
He was held by Enfield police in lieu of $75,000 bond, and was to be arraigned Friday in Enfield Superior Court, Enfield Police Chief Carl Sferrazza said.
