Enfield Police Seeking Driver of Stolen Truck
The driver crashed into a tree, then escaped on foot into a wooded area, police said.

ENFIELD, CT - Police are seeking a stolen vehicle suspect who crashed into a tree and fled on foot in the southeast section of Enfield early Tuesday morning, Deputy Police Chief Gary Collins said.
Around 2:35 a.m., a blue pickup truck heading eastbound on Town Farm Road failed to obey the stop sign at Abbe Road. Police caught up to the driver, who accelerated and passed a car in a no-passing zone until striking a tree at the junction of Broad Brook Road, Collins said.

Police determined the truck had been stolen from a business on Dusthouse Road, in the Powder Hollow section of Hazardville, the deputy chief added.
