Enfield Police Release Photos of Suspect in Dual Bank Robberies
A pair of robberies took place within minutes of each other Saturday morning, less than a half-mile apart.
ENFIELD, CT — Police have issued a description of a suspect sought in a pair of bank robberies committed within moments of each other Saturday morning.
The first occurred at approximately 10:34 a.m. at People’s United Bank at 49 Hazard Ave. The suspect is a white male with medium build, who was wearing a blue knit winter hat with the Boston Red Sox “B” on the front, a blue jacket and jeans. The suspect demanded money from the teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money, Lt. Willie Pedemonti said.
The second report came in seven minutes later from Webster Bank at 50 Freshwater Blvd. The suspect in that case is a white male with medium build who was wearing a Boston Red Sox baseball hat, a blue jacket and jeans. The suspect demanded money from the teller and left with an undisclosed amount of money, Pedemonti said.

Webster Bank has offered a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect.
