Enfield Politician Seeking 59th House District Seat
Carol Hall, a six-term member of the Enfield Town Council, has announced her intention to run for state office.

ENFIELD, CT - A longtime Enfield Town Council member on Thursday formally announced her intention to run for the 59th House District seat.
Carol Hall, who is in her sixth term on the town council, stated her intention to run for the seat at a meeting of the Enfield Republican Town Committee, according to a Facebook post by Enfield Republicans.
“The town council has been very frugal with the taxpayers dollar during my tenure. Along with my colleagues, we have found ways to save, reallocate and redistribute dollars in the budget that has kept Enfield moving forward,” Hall said in the post.
The 59th District seat is currently held by Democrat David Kiner, who announced earlier this week he will not seek re-election in November.
