Enfield Property Revaluation Beginning Shortly

All real property is required to undergo revaluation every five years.

The Connecticut General State Statute 12-62 requires a revaluation of all real property every five years. The last revaluation in Enfield was effective October 1, 2011.

Vision Government Solutions has been contracted by the Town to assist in performing this revaluation. This process will be completed in the winter of 2016. For this revaluation it is not required for a representative to enter every property. An inspection is required for only those properties that have sold, have outstanding building permit(s), in response to the data mailer or have other discrepancies.

In the next few weeks all property owners will receive a document called a “Data Verification Report”.
