Enfield Resident Heather A. Comstock Passes Away at 23
Calling hours the graphic arts student will be held on Monday, Aug. 10.

Heather A. Comstock of East Windsor / Enfield, passed away peacefully with her family at her bedside Friday, Aug. 7, 2015 at Hartford Hospital, after a courageous battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
She is now reunited with her twin sister, Jennifer Rose who passed away in March 1992.

Born in Farmington at John Dempsey Hospital on July 8, 1991 and grew up in Enfield and East Windsor. Heather graduated from East Windsor High School, class of 2010, she also went to Manchester Community College for almost a year, for Graphic Design.
Her passion was spending time with her boyfriend and Art, always drawing, and reading her Anima comic books, she looked forward to the ConnectiCon-ComicCons- she had many outfits for them, that she wore. She loved her stuffed animals, her favorite was the Panda bear. Heather helped out as a Co-Leader of Girl Scout Troop 10128 / 10127 of East Windsor, she was also a Girl Scout in
Enfield.

Heather was the beloved girlfriend of Kaleb Golden of Enfield / East Windsor.
She was the daughter of Lori Hammond and the granddaughter of Joan Hammond. She also leaves a younger sister, Marisa Hammond and a cousin that was like a sister to her Rachel Hammond in Illinois and her daughter, Lillian, cousin Derek Hammond of West Hartford. Uncle Gary Hammond from Enfield, and other uncles and aunts and cousins. She was the daughter of Rusty Comstock and wife Janet, granddaughter of Arthur and Marie Comstock in New York, uncle Randy Comstock and wife Denise in Missouri uncle Ricky Comstock in Kentucky, Aunt Rosemarie Smith in New York, and many cousins. She also leaves behind very close friends Jasmine, Dorothy, James, and her boyfriend Kaleb’s family, that she was very close to.
She also leaves special people that have taken care of her through the years from John Dempsey Hospital. Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, Baystate Medical Center, Springfield, MA, Brigham and Women’s Hospital of Boston, MA, Vibra Hospital of Springfield MA, Two special Respiratory Therapist, from Vibra, Jayne and Scott, who took care of her like she was their her own.
Heather also leaves behind her beloved animals, Kiki the Cat, Gypsy the Dog, Loki the Cat.
She is preceded by her grandfather, Raymond Hammond that loved her dearly.
Thank you Hartford Hospital and all the nurses, therapist and doctors for making her comfortable the last two weeks of her life.
Her calling hours will be held at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road, Enfield on Monday, Aug. 10 from 4 to 6 p.m.
Memorial donations in Heather’s name may be made to Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111 Or Dakin Humane Society 171 Union Street, Springfield MA 01105 or to Cystic Fibrosis for a Cure, 6931 Arlington Road, 2nd Floor, Bethesda, MD 20814 for those who live with it.
In memory of Heather and her sister, Jennifer Rose, may they both now rest in Peace, together.
