Enfield Resident Sabrina A. Slavis Passes Away at 19

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, Aug. 2 with funeral services scheduled for Monday, Aug. 3.

Sabrina Ashley Slavis, born June 4, 1996 passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 27, 2015 at her home in Enfield where she resided with her loving mother Laura Gail (Krepps) Slavis.

Sabrina graduated with honors from Simsbury High School class of 2014.

Sabrina had many passions in life including her love of music, God and animals. She was a spiritual person and loved sharing her insight with others. Sabrina had an extremely kind heart and was always willing to help others and care deeply for her family and friends. She has always been and will always be her mother’s little angel.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her father, Paul R. Slavis of East Hartford; a step sister, Shannon Slavis of MA; a step brother, Paulie Slavis, Jr. of FL; her “big brother”, Nicholas Allen of NY; her grandmother, Nana Krepps and Uncle Dale Krepps of Vancouver British Colombia, Canada, her Aunt Patty LePack and cousins Jeffery and Mark LePack of Enfield, also surviving were the loving families whom cared for Sabrina throughout her life, these include Aunt Debbie and Uncle Kenny Peterson of Simsbury, cousins Katie and Nicki Peterson, Gram Bev Nadeau and Aunty Debbie Nadeau of Enfield, Cynthia and Bob Farrelly of Simsbury and her close friends Sage and Bill Chapman of Simsbury.

Her family will receive friends Sunday, Aug. 2, from 2-6 PM at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home, 443 East St. N. (Rt. 159), Suffield. Funeral services will be held Monday, Aug. 3, 10 AM, at Nicholson & Carmon Funeral Home. Burial will be in Enfield St. Cemetery, Enfield.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
