Enfield Restaurant Is Robbed by Knife-Wielding Bandit

A knife-brandishing bandit made off with an undetermined amount of cash from the Old Country Deli on Alden Avenue Wednesday morning.

Enfield Police said the man was a white male with a knife with a four- to five-inch blade, accosted a female employee in the restaurant at 4 Alden Ave. at about 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, according to The Enfield Source. The robber fled on foot.

The Enfield detective bureau is investigating and asks that anyone with information to call 860-763-6400.
