Enfield Safe Grad Auction Slated For Saturday

Many valuable items, including front row graduation seats, Billy Joel and Boston Bruins tickets, restaurant cards and more are up for grabs.

ENFIELD, CT — Have you ever dreamed of seeing Billy Joel perform in concert at the mecca of all arenas, Madison Square Garden? Feel like re-capturing the thrill of UConn women's basketball renewing its long-dormant rivalry with Tennessee? Do you have a lot of people to shop for on your holiday gift list? You can accomplish all of these things, and more, this Saturday, Nov. 16 at the annual Fall Auction, organized by the Enfield High School Safe Graduation committee.

A number of great items will be up for grabs, including tickets to a Boston Bruins game, front row seats at the 2020 Enfield High School graduation, restaurant gift cards, lavish LEGO sets, prom packages, a wood pellet grill and smoker, a fully cooked turkey dinner for 8-10 people and much more.

In addition to the called auction, 75 items will go to the highest bidders in a silent auction. Among the silent auction offerings are jewelry, brewery tours and tastings, Hartford Yard Goats tickets, a homemade cupcake bouquet, bowling and bounce house passes, NASCAR autographed memorabilia and more.

Viewing at the Enfield Elks Lodge at 138 North Maple Street begins at 5:30 p.m.., with the live auction commencing at 6:30. Tickets are $10, and are available by contacting Anne Marie Jensen at jnsamj@aol.com or 860-335-8908.

No coolers or outside beverages are allowed - drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) must be purchased at the bar. Patrons are allowed to bring their own snacks.
