Enfield Safe Harbor looking for volunteers for this Winter!
Volunteers are needed to help staff Enfield Safe Harbor’s Warming Center and Outreach & Engagement Center for the upcoming winter season. Both centers will be located at the St. Patrick’s Church Hall, 64 Pearl St. Enfield, CT. Below are the responsibilities that volunteers will have for both centers.
Outreach and Engagement Center 6:30pm to 8pm every Thursday Evening

Set-up (6pm) and Break-down (8pm)
Assist guests with selecting needed items (guests are not to handle items)

Assist with supplies/donations as needed (sorting, storage and documenting)
Assist with maintaining COVID-19 protocols (social distancing guest, pass out masks as needed, make sure guests use hand sanitizer)
Assist with frequent cleaning/wiping tables as needed
Duties for volunteers are delegated by the paid staff
Warming Center 8:45pm to 11pm 7 nights a week from 1/3/22 - 3/31/22
Set-up at 8:45pm
Assist staff during check-in
Serve guests snacks and beverages (guests are not allowed to help themselves)
Assist with maintaining COVID-19 protocols (social distancing, pass out masks as needed, make sure guests use hand sanitizer)
Assist guests to prepare for lights out
Assist with cleaning/wiping and sanitizing as needed
Duties for volunteers are delegated by the paid staff
***Overnight volunteering is optional and must be approved by the Director***
