Enfield Set to Compete in State Field Hockey State Tournament

The Eagles are the number two seed in Class L.

ENFIELD, CT — Pairings for the CIAC field hockey state tournament were released Friday morning, and Enfield High School has earned the number two seed in Class L.

The Eagles (15-1) will host the Newtown-Conard winner Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Here are the opening tournament games scheduled for teams from Hartford and Tolland counties. Click the class header to see the complete bracket for that class.

No. 1 Glastonbury (16-0), bye
No. 2 Enfield (15-1), bye
No. 8 South Windsor (13-3), bye
No. 21 Fairfield Warde (6-6-1-1) at No. 12 Hall (8-5-2-1), 4 p.m.
No. 17 Trumbull (8-7-0-1) at No. 16 Simsbury (8-7-1), 2 p.m.
No. 18 Conard (7-6-3) at No. 15 Newtown (9-7), 4 p.m.
