Enfield Sets Drug Take Back Day At Town Hall
Enfield police also reminded residents that a secure drug disposal bin is available year-round at headquarters.
ENFIELD, CT — Enfield residents will have two options to safely dispose of unused or expired prescription medications during this year’s DEA National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, April 25.
The Enfield Police Department said the annual initiative will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is intended to provide a safe, convenient and responsible way to get rid of old prescription drugs.
Police said Enfield Town Hall, 820 Enfield St., will serve as a staffed collection site during that four-hour window, with Enfield officers on hand to accept medications for disposal.

The event is part of the nationwide DEA program aimed at helping communities prevent misuse of prescription medications by encouraging residents to clear out unused or expired drugs.
