Enfield Town Clerk Honored With Statewide Award
Sheila Bailey was named the 2022 Town Clerk of the Year by the Connecticut Town Clerks Association at the organization's fall conference.

ENFIELD, CT — Sheila Bailey, town clerk in Enfield since early 2021, was presented the Town Clerk of the Year Award at the Connecticut Town Clerks Association (CTCA) annual fall conference at the Water's Edge Resort in Westbrook.
The award recognizes a member of the CTCA whose accomplishments have made the most significant contribution to the association and the residents of their community. Candidates are nominated by their peers, and the winner is selected by all 169 Connecticut town clerks.
"It is such an honor to be recognized by my peers who I hold in such high regard," Bailey told Patch Friday. "I am thankful to be part of an organization that supports its members by offering opportunities for professional development, education and leadership. I am truly humbled and honored to be this year’s recipient. I want to thank all the town clerks who supported me over the years, as well as the hard-working and dedicated staff in the Enfield Town Clerk’s office."
