Enfield Town Council Member Won't Seek Reelection

The Democrat will end a 20-year career as a council woman.

Enfield Town Council member Cindy Mangini has announced she’s ending her 20-year career on the council.

The 51-year-old Democrat made the announcement this week that she will not seek re-election in November because she will begin part-time studies at the Western New England School of Law, according to The Courant.

Mangini, who works in real estate and as a substitute teacher in Enfield, Suffield and for the Capitol Region Education Council, said she will continue to teach second grade CCD classes at St. Bernard School, according to the newspaper.
