Chodkowski began working as Enfield town manager in May 2016, after abruptly leaving a similar post in Riverside, Ohio in mid-January of that year, the Dayton Daily News reported at the time.
In his email to employees, Chodkowski wrote, "When I accepted this position nearly two years ago, I had established some personal and professional plans. First, it was my intention to beat the longevity service records set by my two most recent predecessors. Second, I was hell-bent and determined to be part of a one-of-kind Transit Oriented Development. Finally, I was looking forward to positively changing the narrative about Enfield.
