Enfield Trio Face Robbery Charges in Attack on Man

Police say the men punched a man and stole his expensive eyeglasses.

A trio of men is facing robbery-related charges stemming from an incident earlier this month in which the victim was punched in the face and his eyeglasses were stolen.

According to The Courant and Enfield Police, the men were arrested on Oct. 28 in connection with the incident that occurred about 2:15 p.m. Oct. 10 on Pearl Street.

Two of the suspects are accused of reaching into the car the victim was in and grabbing his glasses, according to The Courant. When victim got of his car, the third suspect allegedly slugged him in the face.

Charged with second-degree robbery and conspiracy to commit second-degree robbery were Damon Spencer, 38, of 4 Cynthia Circle, Lyndell Bowen, 28, of 2 Redwood St., and Andrew Wrann, 24 of 4 South St. Spencer and Wrann also face charges of third-degree assault and conspiracy to commit third-degree assault, according to The Courant report which can be found here.
