Enfield Woman Charged With Stabbing Man

ENFIELD, CT — A local woman and man were both arrested early Friday morning following a domestic disturbance which resulted in the woman stabbing the man, according to police.

Coretta Cordon, 37, of 4610 Bigelow Commons, was charged with second-degree assault, criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault, carrying a dangerous weapon and second-degree breach of peace.

Michael Krupa, 31, of the same address, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace.

Both were arraigned Friday in Enfield Superior Court, and are scheduled to return there March 22.

Police had very few details available about the case, other than saying the incident was a domestic disturbance which escalated into violence and resulted in Cordon stabbing Krupa in the back.
