Enfield Woman, Juveniles Charged With Robbery, Assault of Another Juvenile

The suspects were arrested on Wednesday.

An Enfield woman and two juveniles are facing robbery and assault charges in connection with the attack on another juvenile on Wednesday afternoon.

The woman and two unidentified youngsters are accused of accosting the victim as he walked near College and Church streets in the Thompsonville section of town at about 3:43 p.m. April 8.

“She and two juveniles robed another juvenile using either a knife or other sharp object. They struck the victim in the face,” said Enfield Deputy Police Chief Gary Collins. The victim, who suffered a facial cut, was robbed of his backpack that contained a small amount of cash and other personal items, Collins said.

Jenna L. Beverly, 22, of 32 High Meadow Ln., was charged with second-degree robbery, conspiracy at second-degree robbery, third-degree assault, conspiracy at third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and risk of injury to a minor. She is being held in lieu of $75,000 bond and scheduled to return to court May 6, according to the Connecticut Judicial Branch website.

The juveniles face robbery and assault charges, according to police.
