In November two members of the Enfield Youth Council joined 2, 500 municipals officials from across the United States to attend the National League of Cities 2015 Congress of Cities. The conference was held in Nashville, Tennessee.
The youth delegates had the opportunity to network with and learn alongside elected officials in many of the conference’s general sessions, workshops and meetings. They met with their peers from across the nation to share perspectives, exchange views on key issues, and learn from one another. Vice President Joe Biden delivered remarks as part of the Congress of Cities Opening General Session.
