Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun

The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced the field of teams and game schedule for the 2011 Basketball Hall of Fame's Tip-Off Tournament, an annual NCAA men's basketball exempt tournament sponsored by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Eight schools will compete in two four-team brackets over the weekend at one of the premier destinations in New England.

Teams scheduled to compete in the 2011 Basketball Hall of Fame Tip-Off are: Long Island University (Northeast), Marist College (MAAC), Old Dominion University (CAA), Penn State University (Big Ten), Radford University (Big South), University of Kentucky (SEC), University of South Florida (Big East) and the University of Vermont (America East).

November 19th Schedule:

• Game 1: Kentucky vs. Penn State – Noon
• Game 2: Old Dominion vs. South Florida – 2:00pm
• Game 3: Marist vs. Vermont – 6:00pm
• Game 4: Long Island vs. Radford – 8:00pm

November 20th Schedule:

• Game 5: Kentucky vs. Old Dominion/South Florida* - Noon
• Game 6: Penn State vs. Old Dominion/South Florida* - 2:00pm
• *If Kentucky wins Game 1, it will play the winner of Game 2; if Penn State wins Game 1, it will play the winner of Game 2 at pre-determined times.
• Game 7: Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4 – 5:30pm
• Game 8: Loser of Game 3 vs. Loser of Game 4 – 7:30pm
