
Come join the fun on Saturday, June 25, 2011 at this year’s annual CoventryFest, held on Coventry Lake at Patriot’s Park. The Rain Date is Sunday June 26, 2011. The family-oriented event begins at 3:00 pm and includes food, games, rides, music, crafters and other vendors. Beginning after sundown, a celebration of our nation’s birth with a spectacular fireworks display over Coventry Lake will take place. Admission is free, however, donations are accepted to help defer the cost of the event and to help support future CoventryFest activities.
The event is sponsored by the Coventry and Storrs Knights of Columbus, the American Legion Post 52, and the Boy Scouts of America Troup 65. Additionally, the Town of Coventry helps support the event by providing the use of Patriot’s Park, and police and fire services.

Onsite parking at Patriot’s Park is available for $15. Offsite parking and bus service to Patriot’s Park is available at Robertson School for $5. If the Robertson School parking lot is full, overflow parking and bus service will be available at the Capt. Nathan Hale Middle School and Coventry High School. The rain date for the event is Sunday, June 26.

Location: Patriots Park, Lake St, Coventry, CT 06238From Manchester: 384 to Rt 44. Turn Right onto RT 31 south (Main Street). At second blinking yellow light (aprox 5 miles) turn right on Lake St. Park is on right. For parking continue past park onto Cross st and Park at Robertson School on left for shuttle.
