The Enfield Community Band started five years ago with 15 members and now has about 45 members. Members come from a surrounding towns and range from high school age to retirees. This year’s program includes music from Wicked, Carmen and an arrangement of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The group also will play a piece, “Take the Air,” composed by band member Bill Holden, a Fermi High graduate class of ’03. The free concert will be April 2, at 7:30 p.m. at Fermi High School auditorium. There also will be a Dixieland feature by the Concord Street Brass, a local brass quintet.
