On Saturday, April 30, the Enfield Police Department will again participate in the DEA National Drug Take Back Initiative. This program allows residents to dispose of unwanted or expired prescription drugs in a safe and controlled manner.

The first program occurred on September 25, 2010 when EPD took in the second highest amount of pills in the Capitol Region.

The April event will be held at the police department located at 293 Elm Street and will run from 10 am - 2 pm.
