The Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection will join the Connecticut Marine Trades Association, the US Coast Guard Auxiliary and the US Power Squadrons for its 7th annual Paddle Smart Event on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Hartford Convention Center. The free Paddle Smart Event is scheduled from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the Connecticut Convention Center (Ballroom level). Attendees will receive a discount coupon to the Hartford Boat Show. Bring the entire family for this important workshop on safe paddling and learn from novice and expert paddle enthusiasts about what’s new and safe in the sport. Some topics to be discussed include:
