The event begins at 7 p.m. April 17 at Fermi High School auditorium. The students hope to raise $10,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Each entrant has raised $50 for the American Cancer Society. The winner will also receive a $500 scholarship generously donated by Artioli Chrysler Dodge. Donation jars for each contestant were set up in school this week and will be on Friday night so the student body can donate for their favorite contestant. Their fundraising will add up to 20% of their score. On Friday night, there will be several activities that the contestants will need to participate in and be judged on including, public speaking, talent, Q&A, and a semi-formal portion.
