Fire at Multi-Family Home Displaces 6 in Enfield
An attic bedroom and its contents were damaged by the blaze early Saturday morning.

ENFIELD, CT — A structure fire at a multi-family home in the Thompsonville section of Enfield has displaced six people early Saturday morning.
The fire at 32 South Street was reported at 4:28 a.m., and mutual aid from all five Enfield fire departments responded. The blaze was contained to an attic bedroom, and was brought under control at 5:05 a.m., according to Mark Zarcaro, public information officer for the town fire departments.
No injuries were reported. The Red Cross has been requested to aid the persons displaced by the fire, Zarcaro said.
