Firefighters Battle Blaze on Green Manor Road in Enfield

ENFIELD, CT - Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish a fire at 151 Green Manor Road on Tuesday afternoon., public information officer Mark Zarcaro said.

The fire broke out at 1:50 p.m. Zarcaro said. It was initially reported as being on a deck and it extended to the house, he said.

The Hazardville Fire Department was dispatched to the scene, followed by other town departments, Zarcaro said.

No injuries were reported about the occupants, but pets were unaccounted for, Zarcaro said. No injuries were sustained by fire personnel, he said.

The fire was declared under control at 2:30 p.m., he said.
