Firefighters Battle Kitchen Fire in Enfield

ENFIELD, CT — A kitchen fire caused some damage to a home in the Southwood Acres section of Enfield Tuesday evening.

The fire at 10 Queen Street, a side street off of Raffia Road, was confined to the kitchen, and was declared under control in 15 minutes. Mutual aid from all five Enfield fire departments responded, aid Mark Zarcaro, public information officer for the Enfield fire departments.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation, Zarcaro said.
