Parkway Pavilion Healthcare Residents Enjoy Annual Fishing Outing
Parkway Pavilion residents enjoyed a beautiful day fishing at Freshwater Pond in Enfield. Along with family and friends, volunteer Cary Atkins organizes the annual outing.
Daisy Brooks, Parkway Pavilion Healthcare resident, turns 99 years young. Daisy, an avid fisherwoman has participated in all five fishing trips.
Guy Beaudoin from Yankee Outdoors LLC provides the licenses, bait and tackle, while Parkway Pavilion Healthcare hires a bus and provides lunch. Staff assists with transport and care of the residents.

According to Diane Sokol, Parkway Pavilion Healthcare Recreation Director, “Residents of Parkway Pavilion Healthcare, who are able to participate in this annual outing, are so appreciative of all who make it happen. Fishing was a hobby for many of our resident’s growing up. This day is very important and fulfilling for them.”
