St. Bernard School Brings Awareness to Heart Health

St. Bernard School brings awareness to heart health during the month of February by raising money in a special way for the American Heart Association. JoAnn Portelance, from the American Heart Association came to kick off both the “Jump Rope” and “HOOPS For Heart” programs with the student body. All proceeds collected will be donated in honor of Sister JoAnn Lewko, the former principal of St. Bernard School who passed away due to heart disease in February of 2010.
