Food Drive at PetSmart to Benefit Enfield Community Cat Project

A non-profit rescue organization is committed to rescuing and caring for the homeless, abandoned and feral cats in Enfield.

ENFIELD, CT — The Enfield Community Cat Project (ECCP) will conduct its annual cat food drive at PetSmart, 10 Hazard Avenue in Enfield, on Saturday, Nov. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

ECCP is a community-based non-profit rescue organization with over 1,000 members committed to rescuing and caring for the homeless, abandoned and feral cats in Enfield. The group is asking residents to help feed the homeless and feral kitties during the winter months by making a cat food donation of any size during this event. All who donate will receive a raffle ticket for a beautiful gift basket.

“Our fall food drive is critical to allow us to make it through the winter months feeding all our feral cats,” commented Dawn Trainor Struck, President and Founder of the Enfield Community Cat Project. “They count on us to survive and in the cold months eat even more in order to stay alive.”
