Freshwater Literary Festival to be Held at ACC

This year's Freshwater Literary Festival is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 14th. The keynote speaker will be bestselling author Suzanne Strempek Shea. Workshops for the day will be focused on writing and publishing.

The 2016 edition of Freshwater Literary Journal (the first to include fiction and creative nonfiction in addition to poetry) will be released at the event. This year's edition features outstanding literary work from authors across the globe (some from right here at Asnuntuck), including the winners of the 2016 Asnuntuck Writing Contest, several of whom will be in attendance to read their prize-winning poems during lunch.

There is no cost to participate, but space is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
