Garage Fire Quickly Contained In Southern Enfield

ENFIELD, CT — Firefighters quickly brought a garage fire under control early Saturday morning at a house in the southern part of town, according to a spokesman for the fire departments of Enfield.

The fire at 17 Putnam Drive was reported at 2:59 a.m., and was brought under control by 3:22 a.m., public information officer Mark Zarcaro said.

Zarcaro said the fire was contained to the garage.

No further information was immediately available.
