Garage Fire Quickly Snuffed Out At Enfield Home
The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to officials.

ENFIELD, CT — Firefighters quickly knocked down a garage fire at a home in the Southwood Acres section of Enfield Wednesday morning.
The blaze at 9 Farmstead Circle was reported at 6:24 a.m., and drew mutual aid response from all five town fire departments. The fire was quickly knocked down, and declared under control within 15 minutes, according to Mark Zarcaro, public information officer for the fire departments.
There was some smoke extension into the house, Zarcaro said.

The family living in the house escaped unharmed. No injuries were reported, Zarcaro said.
