On Monday, State Rep. David W. Kiner taped his monthly cable access show, Kiner's Community, with Gov. Dannel P. Malloy as his special guest. The show will air each Thursday in April, beginning April 4.
“I want to thank the governor for taking the time out of his busy schedule to come onto my show,” Kiner said in a news release. “The residents of Enfield and East Windsor deserve to have their voices and opinions heard by our state leaders, and I was glad to give them that opportunity.”
Residents were able to submit questions for the governor through an article on Enfield Patch. Kiner worked these questions into the discussion with the governor.
Topics covered during the 30-minute show include gun violence prevention, the budget, having armed guards in Enfield’s public schools, how the governor got involved in politics, and the Springfield-Hartford-New Haven rail line.
Kiner’s Community airs Thursday nights at 8:30 p.m. on Cox channel 15. To watch the show online, go to www.patv15.com, Enfield/Schedule, go to the day of the week the show airs, find the show and click on view. All you need is to have cable access as part of your television package.
