Johnson Memorial Medical Center's home health and hospice care agency, Home and Community Health Services, announces 2015 scholarship winners

Michelle Beverly, Executive Director, Home & Community Health Services (H&CHS) along with Johnson Memorial Medical Center is pleased to announce the 2015 recipients of the H&CHS Jewel Epstein Scholarship awards.

The Jewell Epstein Fund was established in 1952 as a scholarship opportunity for young women of the highest academic standing who were graduating Enfield High School and entering the field of nursing. Over the years, the award has expanded to include men and women graduating from both Enfield High School and Enrico Fermi High School. Each scholar receives $1,000 to place toward their pursuit of an education in nursing or an affiliated health care field.

Congratulations to this year’s recipients, Kyla Pokorny of Enfield High School and Megan Phillips of Enrico Fermi High School. Each of these hardworking young women was selected based on academic achievements as well as community participation.
