House Fire Quickly Knocked Down In Enfield
Four people were displaced following the Sunday evening fire on a residential street off Brainard Road.

ENFIELD, CT — Firefighters quickly knocked down a house fire on Belle Avenue early Sunday evening, leaving a family of four displaced.
The fire at 8 Belle Ave., off Brainard Road, was called in by a neighbor at 6:02 p.m., and reported as a working fire by first fire officer on the scene. Mutual aid responded from all five Enfield fire departments, said Mark Zarcaro, public information officer.
The fire was deemed under control at 6:50 p.m. Three adults and one child were not home at the time of the incident, and no injuries were reported, Zarcaro said.
