How I Avoided Surgery and Hours of Physical Therapy

Years of football, rugby, skiing and adolescent foolishness finally caught up with me a couple years ago. One morning I woke to find my knees went on vacation and left a nasty note to me by way of serious pain - pain in standing up, walking, and forget about running, that was not happening. Range of motion was cut by 60% or more. On top of that, my neck and shoulders were incredibly tight and chronically in pain.
I was taking steps one at a time, up or down. At one point I seriously considered one of those lift and tilt chairs. I couldn’t turn my head without my upper body turning with it. It was that bad.
Chronologically, I was in my late 40s but my body felt like it was in its late 90s. The doctor, X-Rays and MRIs found nothing mechanically wrong. Really?

These were my options: Surgery to find out what’s wrong or try weeks of physical therapy, or both.
Fortunately, I came across a fourth option from Ideal Flexibility.

After the initial free consultation, Rick Hall - Certified NRT Master Level, Certified Natural Flexibility Trainer, and LMT - was confident he could help rapidly reduce the pain I was feeling and increase my range of motion using this new approach called Neural Reset Therapy, or NRT for short.
From my own personal experience, NRT involves specific, controlled, and guided isometric-type movements along with focused neural stimulation via tapping (using the same tapping instrument by your primary care physician). Ideal's website goes into the technical details or NRT.
After the 1st session, my pain reduced by 50% and range of motion improved by about 25%. That was one 30 or 40-minute session! In the 2nd session we added Flexibility and Balance exercises, which augmented the NRT.
One week after my 5th and final session, I played in a softball tournament sprinting, yes, springing around the bases. A week after that, my daughter and I went on a gruelling 3 hour mountain hike/climb. I was amazed and grateful for having had my quality of life restored, and so quickly and painlessly!
Since then, I referred my wife for a neck issue, a good friend for a forearm issue preventing him from golfing, and many other people, all who have had similar results as I did.
That we have this amazing resource in town, is a blessing.
I cannot explain how it all works, but the fact that so many of my personal friends and family all found notable help with Rick at Ideal Flexibility prompted me to share my story with you.
I went on Idea’s website, IdealFlexibility.com, and from the site this is a list of common conditions they specifically refer to:
- "Neck and back pain
- Muscle spasms
- Headaches, especially migraines
- Carpel tunnel syndrome
- TMJ syndrome
- Tennis and golf elbow
- Pain from unknown causes
- Pain persisting long after the original trauma, including post-surgical pain
- Rotator cuff injury
- Sciatica-like pain"
You owe it to yourself to contact Ideal Flexibility if you are suffering from range of motion or other types of pain. With a free initial consultation, you cannot go wrong. If Rick assesses that you need a referal to an MD or another type of specialist, he will tell you. If he is confident he can help you, he will tell you.
Their website offers additional information on available services.
Following Rick’s advice, today I can take my puppy for a short jog, go hiking, walk, ride bikes, even do some sprinting. This is about 2 years after completing my 5 sessions with Rick Hall.
No surgery. No physical therapy. Just enjoying life again.
