Iffy Forecast Prompts Change to Enfield Rotary Basketball Tournament Schedule
The consolation and championship games were originally scheduled for Thursday evening; Enfield's wrestling meet has also been postponed.
ENFIELD, CT — An uncertain weather forecast for Thursday has caused officials to postpone the final round of the annual Enfield Rotary Classic girls basketball tournament at Enfield High School.
The consolation and championship games had originally been scheduled for Thursday evening, but will now be played Friday. The consolation game between Wethersfield and Rockville starts at 5:30 p.m., while the championship tilt between Enfield and Bacon Academy tips off at 7 p.m.
The Enfield High School wrestling team's meet at Agawam has also been postponed, and will now be contested Friday Friday at 10 a.m.
