Jessie Nisotis, 92; Former Enfield Resident Who Loved the Beach

Jessie Nisotis of Enfield, CT passed away peacefully with family on March 3, 2015, while at Atria Assisted Living in Grass Valley, CA where she has lived since April 2010.

Loving mother and wife, she is survived by daughters Dianne M. Seltzer (George) and Cynthia Raedeke (Arthur), son Larry Nisotis (Diane) and sister Bertha ‘Peppie’ Duff.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles Nisotis in 2007.

Jessie was born in Norwich, CT in 1922 and lived in Enfield, CT before moving to California in 2010.

Her parents, Emanuel Andriotte and Persifola Hamorana were both from Greece.

Jessie will be sorely missed by her many loving friends and family in CT, Washington DC, CA and MA. Jessie loved the beach at any time of the year and was very proud of her Greek heritage.

The family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday March 10, 2015 at Leete-Stevens Funeral Home, 61 South Road, Enfield, CT. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday March 11th at St. Luke’s Greek Orthodox Church at 400 Prospect St., East Longmeadow, MA. Burial will follow at Hazardville Cemetery.
