Kalawatie Sukhram, 90; Enfield Resident Who Worked for the Little Sisters of the Poor
Calling hours will be held Friday, March 27 with the funeral scheduled for Saturday, March 28.

Kalawatie Sukhram, 90, of Enfield, CT widow of the late Ori Sukhram passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 17, 1924 in Guyana, the daughter of the late Dwarka and Tetra.

Kalawatie was born in Guyana and was a resident of Enfield since 1983. She was employed for Little Sisters of The Poor retiring in 1992.
Kalawatie is survived by her six children Seeram Sukhram, Ranjit Sukhram, Rohit Sukhram, Rita Deonaraine, Eileen Sukhram, and Lucille Mancalram; eighteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; and ten great-great grandchildren; two brothers Esree Persaud and BK Persaud; and two brother-in-laws Munirem and Harry Persaud.

She was predeceased by her husband Ori Sukhram; two brothers Harry Persaud and Sunny Persaud; and a sister Dhanragie.
Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 12:00 noon at Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels.
